Everyone knows that to tell the sex of chicks you have to hold the chickens by what would be the scruff of their neck and see if their legs dangle. Separate out the leg curlers, boys one and all. Then put the pullet chicks upside down (laying on their back) in the palm of your hand. If they struggle, put them with the other boys. Then take the remaining pullet chicks and (one at a time) put them in a brooder with two bowls of water. if they drink from the left one they are boys, pull 'em out.
This method is GUARANTEED to be effective on all pullets ordered from large hatcheries that sex their pullet chicks. Of course there is a small margin for error. Say +/-50%.
