We have two males (brothers) housed together. I've never had two before, much less two males (always done the single parrotlet). They are a little nuts at times, and bonded to eachother instead of to us, but they are happy little dudes.

I don't know what attracted them to the ceramic chickens, but it made for some cute pictures!

We don't let ours out, not real tame and 3 small dogs. We will be setting them up to breed, and hand feed a baby for us.

The speckled eggs are the Coturnix Quail. I ordered Jubmo brown, like the Quail in the pic, and Texas A & M, Jumbo, which is pure white.

A few were labeled, but for the most part I wont know the brown from the white till they hatch.

I bred and raised birds years ago, and when hubby got here , I still had all my cages, so it's not like he wasn't warned. LOL!
Actually, we all love them here. Maybe they would grow on The Control Tower. ;-)

We would like some of the small conures.

We used to have a Cockatiel that would go stick his head in the nest box and ask his mate, who was on eggs, "What cha doin"? I would laugh till it hurt, and was waiting for her to smack him

I saw your little chicks are sure growing! The time sure goes fast! And the coop is looking great!

I got the sill plate and sole plate on the stem wall & one post up. Tough to do while playing lone ranger. Hopefully get more done in between schools tomorrow.
