Arizona Chickens

if the HOA turns around and lets you have chickens, are you going to get the coop "back" from Mikey?

(why does my keyboard let me misspell things? when is the government going to get rid of misssspelling?)

Good idea with the pavers. We didn't use the blue because (and keep in mind Tammy & I both love blue) after we painted the house the light blue, we hated it. Looks like a giant square cloud. We picked a neutral color that we'll probably be painting the house.

Yes, we're going to paint the house to match the chicken coop!

Love the coop, Mikey! Your big Cornish is huge! Much bigger than my biggest one, Baldy. I may have to switch to that organic feed you're using. Just caught the little red Banty rooster. Only three hens to go!

It is so incredibly quiet here this afternoon. Sorry, pastrymama. Please, put a blanket on that roo roo for the night. I'm so sorry he didn't leave today like he was supposed to.

Sitting here eating some homemade kimchi (yummy, don't smell my breath) and enjoying the BYC. It's so hot out I don't want to do the garden work that needs to get done. Or vacuum, or. Maybe I'll make pumpkin soup tonight, although it's hard to even be in an October mood.
Climbing the ladder tonight, going after those last three crazy hens. Guess which ones? Hamburg, Egyptian and a Silver Leghorn. I knew they would give me trouble.

BTW, it's really hard to type with a little black Merlin kitty walking all over the keyboard.

Did I mention he's a feral kitty? And, he sleeps on my pillow next to my ear at night?
