Arizona Chickens

Also.... my two booted seramas are not looking like seramas at all. They are getting big fast! I have no idea what they are or where they came from. Maybe I have a chicken that sneaks into the serama pen and lays eggs. It is so weird!!

No kidding. I had to suffer the ignominy of buying eggs at the grocery store last weekend.

Me too. I'm hoping that buying a huge 5 dozen pack it will give me good luck and I'll suddenly be overwhelmed with fresh eggs. Then I can just feed the store bought ones to the chickens.

If anyone is interested...

My daughter left a large plastic 2 piece dog house here that she no longer wants. I am going to CL it but if any of ya'll want it for a brooder or isolation or indoor coop, it's yours.

I'm guessing it is around 3' x 4'

OK fine, I'll go take a pict...

Just hang on a minute...

Yes it dirty but it is serviceable.

I just had a thought - it could probably be used as a dog house too!

Lemme know...

Out of the 14 that have actually laid an egg, I'm geting 6 or 7 a day.
My BSL lays almost every day.
I get two olive eggs a week, two leghorn eggs, two RIR eggs, 1 or 2 Brahma eggs, I don't know if the SLW or NH are laying yet.
My GCM lays about two a week, my polish has quit laying, I have one EE that has been getting in the nest boxes but I haven't see an egg yet, and if it does it should be a light sky blue egg.

Boston tells me he's getting 4 Icelandic eggs a day up in Heber.... I sure miss those Icelandics but I'm glad Boston could get them to take care of them and preserve the bree.d

I'm getting about ten banty eggs a day from two tiny OEGBs. I'm beginning to feel like raising a whole bunch of OE Banties. If nobody steps up to the plate I might just replace everyone with twice the number of Banties.

No way are 2 birds laying 10 eggs a day. Several someone else's are helping them out.
