I've thrown roos together before. And while one will be top dog, they all eventually settle down and get along.

Make a bachelor pad, you won't regret it and then you can use the real pretty ones for breeding.

Had to share this with y'all. So I go out earlier to check on my girls and there wasn't a single chicken in sight. I check everywhere, even checking to see if they figured out how to open the new lock on the door like they did last time. I search the yard even ask my neighbors if they've seen my chickens. Suddenly I hear clucking so I return to the run but still no chickens. I look under the coop(18 inch clearance with 3 sides covered up for a sort of second shelter). Then I see a little head pop up and one by one all 17 chickens come out of this giant hole they had dug in the back corner. It was like watching clowns come out of a tiny clown car.

Somehow I managed to get rid of blackhead in the turkeys (almost) with minimal effort. Gotta give them another round of treatment tomorrow. Not nearly as hard as I expected.

Of anyone runs across a salmon faverolle rooster, a blue wheaten Ameruacana rooster or a white face black Spanish hen/pullet for sale...LEMME KNOW!.

I got two eggs today. I haven't seen an Egg since October! My daughter managed to drop both of them. Lol.
