Mine are 3 white and 1 black. My problem is I have a blue/black marans chick the same age in with them that is huge in comparison that I can't split out right now (sure it's a roo). Hubby says they can go out now can't they, little does he know I think they are destined to be house chicks for a while....The 16 silkies cooking in the bator are white, black and bbs, hoping to get a splash out of them. They sure are cute

my 2 1/2 month old silkies are outside, but they still have heat at night. they can still squeeze under their ecoglow and stay there all night. i put them out when i first got them at 6 weeks and the temps dropped fast, so i never took their heat away. oops. new babies are in the laundry room with the red lamp. i have another ecoglow ordered.

Thanks for the kudo's folks.

Granny, I'm really into doing the copper but it is a really finicky process.

High potential for coming out splotchy & ruining the whole shebang.

If I can find someone to blast them for a reasonable price & then get them back to the shop before rust sets in...

Merry Happy Everyone!~
PastryMama, cool beans on your new fuzzybutt delights!
Mahonri, glad you are feeling better
Mikey, I'm a copper loving person, but the cost of ever so much more than steel.

Mikey...man of action. You were just thinking about this at the Tour, and now it's DONE! They are really nice.

Thanks Meg! Took a bit to get the process worked out & it still has some kinks.

I wish I had an in at a Scottsdale gallery - I could make some chicken feed.

thank you its nice to have great
cristmas memories from your grandparents
i miss them we lost our gradma in december
19 of 2007 of cancer
and my grandpa in april 2009 of a stroke
but we have great memories of time
we were grateful to spend with them
its important that when you have
family to spend time with them
because then its too late when you
loose them
