Arizona Chickens

Becky, so sorry... it's so difficult to loose a member of the family.

Tomorrow is the memorial service for the Shapiros. I knew them well. Was in their home a couple of times.
I knew Glenna best. I spoke at her father's funeral and sang at her mother's funeral.
Good people.

They were robbed, killed and then their home was burned. So sad.

she wont notice 3 more!!! we can just tell her they are packing peanuts and then just be suprised that they are females. I didn't have a change to call before they closed. It was one heck of a day. The fist fight on the school bus between to high school girls, while I was driving, was the last straw. I need a vacation...oh yeah..poultry show saturday!!!!

Wow- that brings back memories!! I drove a school bus in Kingman for a couple of years when I was doing clinicals for nursing. You have my respect and admiration!!!

I know - I really should've trimmed my fingernails first!

MikeyD, congrats on all the new chicks, but a bed in the shed is NOT OKAY! It's time for some serious Control Tower time.

Gallo, how exciting to have another broody. And the soon to be little ones!

I haven't ever had chicks. I got my girls when they were older, and have never had more than 2 at a time (I know, weird huh!?). Chicken math has never affected me, what with the dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, mealworms, fish (and soon to be many more!), and human family members that all need my attention. Which is why I don't know how exactly to explain the 3 new little peepers in the spare bedroom.
