If anyone is interested in pullets starting at 5 weeks old and you are planning to be anywhere near 35th ave and Deer Valley send me a PM and I will give my number. ~~Vanessa

Vanessa... those six you sold to me are still doing great... the leghorns quit laying for a month but they are back at it, the EE gives me a beautiful blue/green egg every other day, the BO lays large eggs every other day as well as the CA white/D'uccle cross that I got from you.

The Cinnamon Queen is a laying machine. 5 or 6 LARGE dark brown eggs every week.

If you PM me here on BYC I will send you my contact info or you can search keyword "chickens" on Craigslist and just look for Chickens for Sale with the location of 35th ave and Deer Valley

I am so glad to hear that all is well. Seems everyone that got some of my Cinnamon Queens are saying the same thing. Those birds are crazy layers. I have quite a few breeds that I am raising right now and I am planning on getting more CQ's in the near future but first I have 125 americaunas coming May 13!!! YAY!!!!

hey Lynne, ive been to C&C hatchery in Queen Creek. The birds are beautiful if you want to pay $15 for a 4 week old bearded silkie..... i got suckered into it. Anywho, it depends on how much you want to pay. They are VERY pricey......im not sure if they are SQ birds or not. The pics on craigslist arent their birds.

Okay, I am going to try posting here about my problem.

Does anyone want a rooster and a hen? They are both 10 month old Amber sex links. The hen layed 27 eggs last month (31 days).

I will be totally honest here. These birds were hand raised just like the rest of our flock, but they did not turn out the same. They are both flighty and avoid ANY human contact. The exception to that came when our broody hen hatched out my new babies. The rooster has been fiercely protecting them and has attacked me, my daughter, and my husband. He had me in a struggle that lasted several minutes the other day. I couldn't get away from him and was beating him with a metal pan.

I was planning on butchering him, so I put him in a cage. Since then, the hen has been so freaked out and weird that I wonder if I should keep them together and try to find them a home.

Their names are General Cotton and Candy. They are pretty birds (although a hen has been picking at Candy and she has a bare spot on her back. I put a saddle on her but she ripped it off). The rooster is a fierce protector and the hen is an excellent layer. We just don't want them anymore.

I will sell them both cheap! Maybe on trade?

PM me if interested.

Ok everyone has convinced me to make my peeps available
wink.png

Red Sex Link, Red Star Sex Link, California Whites, White Leghorns, Brown Leghorns, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, and Americauna. I also have golden laced wyandotte, silver lace wyandotte, new hampshires, barred plymouth rock, and white plymouth rock in the 1-3 month range. My standard cochins will not be available for a few more months. I have the standard cochins in golden laced, partridge, blue, and white. I will make the light brahmas available at the same time as the cochins. I hope that answered alot of people's questions all at one time;)
