Arizona Chickens

What's even weirder is that I will be relocating from PHX to BQK at the end of the summer....haven't really gotten into that on here yet. So what the heck should I do with my BYC "handle"?? PDXtoPHXtoBQK??

DH and Ladies will join me later (hopefully sooner rather than later!!) As time gets closer I'm starting to freak out more about how to make it all happen smoothly!!

I am going to miss them all so much until they can join me......but the drive from AZ to GA will be an interesting one, with all of the ladies ( NO WAY am I leaving them behind for more than a month or two) DH will take great care of them, thankfully.....

WHAT?, you're leaving us?!!

I'm sorry to be a downer - I'm feel like I almost have no good news to share anymore.

Crappy home-coming.

One of my 3 remaining App Spitz is gone - Hoppy - she was the one who would hop up on my knee when I sat down to hand out treats

and Twisty (GSL with a cross beak) was laying in th bottom of the run less than half alive, covered in ants. She had swollen eyes an looks to have succumbed t that shitty mycoplasma.

She was doing nothing but suffering so I had to put her down. To top it off I had no CO2 & had to use a hatchet.

This sux.

I ****'n hate this!
Oh how terrible. Sorry you're having to deal with this.

not sure its appropriate to post this here, so delete if needed. i am rehoming a few roosters. search BLRWs in east valley craigslist to see the ad if you are interested.

This is not about chickens but wanted to share my adventure today. Hubby booked us a guide at Lake Pleasant to show us how to catch stripe bass. Showed up at 5:30 (yawn) and fished till 10:00 am. I caught the catfish and 3 stripers and hubby got the other 2. Dale was our guide and was very entertaining. He teaches fly fishing so we may take him up on that.

It's still a little ways off....and honestly there are such wonderful active folks here that I am kinda planning on still 'crashing' the AZ thread

if you all don't mind, that is!! I have introduced myself around the GA thread and there are some nice folks on there too. It's just not as active as AZ

I have a lot of silkies for sale. Colors: paint, black, buff, white, partridge, blue, golden cuckoo, partridge cuckoo, silver cuckoo. I also have some show quality bantam brahmas babies in buff & light for sale as well. Ages range from days old to almost point of lay.

I even have a few red sexlink females that should be laying in 2 months. They lay the largest JUMBO sized brown eggs I have ever seen..

If interested email me.. Need them gone ASAP. Might consider trades as well..

thnx

There you are! Missed you. Hey I need a paint rooster. I don't care how young and if maybe you just think it might be a roo. Have one and how much? You can PM me. You do live in Mesa?
Sonora Silkies said she had two but haven't heard back from her?!

Yay! I'm actually a little jealous. You're going to be near water. You'll always have a home here in this thread.

Awesome! Really nice looking stripers and the catfish too. Did you catch the stripers near the surface in shad boils or were they down deeper? We went last week to San Diego and got to fly fish for the first time in the Pacific Ocean. It was great fun. We'll soon be off for more fly fishing in CO and NM. I can't wait.
