Arizona Chickens

LOL Thank you. Don't forget turkeys, dogs, cats and one horse! DH and I live with my sister on a small farm. Most of the animals are hers. But I do own the turkeys a few Serama chickens and 4 goats.

I am the one that takes care of them mostly however.

HI Az'ers,

I just set 40 eggs...
13 paint, splash, calico and white show potential Silkies (from Oregon breeder) and 27 are German/American (Good Shepherd) Heritage New Hamphsires (Nebraska-XW poultry). I included photos of the Hamp. eggs and their breeder stock...also the Silkie breeder stock....I will be offering some of these for sale too. Looking forward to about 20 days from now ((-;

I forgot who posted that Rosie on the House is having a chicken segment on Saturday. The guests will be: Lauren Scheuer, Author, Once Upon A Flock - A Lifestyle with Chickens 9:12 a.m.; Dave 'The Egg Man' of Two Wash Ranch 9:34 a.m.; and Clint Hickman of Hickman Family Farms 10:06 a.m. Just FYI if anyone is interested.

I hope to get 60% of these shipped eggs hatched out...we shall see...hope I didn't just have 'beginner's luck" the first go around in January!! This may be my last hatch until late Fall...unless I am tempted to do an Easter hatch

Good luck with the hatch! I witnessed the Good Shepard Barred Rock cockerel I introduced to some of the pullets mate with one today! I was a bit worried since some people on the Good Shepard Barred Rock thread said they mature so slowly and weren't breeding until a year old....Mine are 10 months old. I've got 5 eggs in the incubator as a test, but maybe they were laid before the breeding started. Will candle on 2/5 and see!

Try unplugging your modem for about 10 min. and have your computer off at the same time.

Good luck It worked for me.

I agree. There's a "rule of thumb": When it don't compute, reboot! Seems to work for the most part...poor grammar and all. ;)

Tried that. :confused: many, many times. I think I have to go in and tell it were to find it or something. I a feeling I'm missing some key info. I could not be here when cable was installed. Brought my computer in, it's ok, modem ok, wireless devise ok. That leave my gray mater computer is missing something. Tomorrow, I am going to ask my nephew to fix it for me. I get so confused by it. Thanks for trying to help. It took me weeks to figure out Xbox account management and for Christmas I was given Black OPPS II, haven't even played it yet, I have been so busy sense Nov.. I just got back on line a couple weeks ago. :rolleyes:

After ten plus years of fighting with windows products I switched to MAC and it is easier for me to complete new tasks. Still haven't used to I phone to the max capacity and I still hand write letters ? I truely admire 70 year olds who figure out new programs. I'd rather be outside digging up plants.
