I haven't tried live bugs yet but it seems my girls would take ages to clean up the amount you spilled. When I do see them find bugs they play with them for 5 minutes before gulping them down.Okay well my mom was visiting and I wanted to prove what great buggers my girls were. SO I got some more crickets, and video taped it. OF course since there were like 6 ppl standing around we had some of our Ladies decide not to participate near the camera, and they were way slower than last time. That being said I'll have to pick up some more on the way home from work at some point and take video with just the normal ppl around and NOT on my porch... though my porch right now was the only shaded spot. Peep however, is still our # 1 bug go-getter.
Sorry I sound like Vader. I'm not sure if ti's allergies or I'm just stuffy.
Peep however wasn't very deterred by the extra ppl and was more than happy to make sure my porch became bugless.
It's possible I should have named this one the Peep show since I'm pretty sure she ate over half of them lol. Cad & GlaDos helped, but Dahlia wanted no part of all the ppl and Firey didn't even show up to the party. Chel (our new black EE) got behind the grill and found a couple. Sadly I didn't get the video there in time.
Last time we got 30 and they were gone in about 30-45 seconds. This time we got 40 and it took them about 3 min. I think part of that was Firey thought it was too warm to bother joining in on the fun & Glad & Cad weren't so sure about the strange ppl standing around. So far it's a competition to see who can eat the most in the quickest amount of time. I guess I know they're pretty speedy on the bugging though lol.I haven't tried live bugs yet but it seems my girls would take ages to clean up the amount you spilled. Ha ha! Y'know...my family are Royals, too. My daughter is "Princess of All Things Pink and Frilly". My boys are the "Princes of Not Cleaning Up After Themselves" (their father is the king), and I'm the Queen of "The Five Minute Shower and Fully Functional on Four Hours of Sleep".
It's a feeding frenzy when I bring out the meal worms, or find grasshoppers in the garden.Okay well my mom was visiting and I wanted to prove what great buggers my girls were.
