OK so I'm full of dumb questions tonight but...

Why doesn't BYC break out different sections for the active areas/states ? I have run quite a few forums and its not really that hard. Has anyone asked this before?

We had this on the saltwater fish forums i was on (reefcentral)

I currently manage some forums with over a half a million people as users and again its not that difficult.

Just curious.

We're out in Casa Grande. Not really in town, kind of out of town. We live in the middle of a cotton field.

The big forum threads are started by users, not BYC. that is why you will see SoCal or Upstate NY threads. The big ones are there via process of natural selection. IE-there are not a TON of folks from southern AZ who regularly post. So any thread the do would eventually fall to the bottom of the list.

As for adding a field which would help in "searching" or "sorting" the "Where am I, where are you" threads...it may already been in the works. BUT- you could definantely make the suggeestion in the BYC FEEDBACK forum. Nifty is always looking for new suckers, I mean helpers, to spearhead projects.

Dont I know that first hand.....

Yes, I got eggs this morning from Mohonri. Very nice to meet him and his wife. I got a nice selection of eggs for my newest broody (Jumbo).

Arg! The freakin pest control changed times without asking us. Now were have four dogs who REALLY need to take their morning potty but aren't allowed outside.

How is everyone? My day is going to be super busy but rewarding. I'm going out to an elderly gentleman whose rabbit breeding program is out of control. I'm bringing all the spare cages and anything that can jimmy a cage to separate the males and females. Hopefully it is not as bad as it sounds and we can post some on CL for potential homes.

Then I'm off to Lowes to buy a shade cloth for the west facing wall as it's just too hot for the chicka girls. After that I head back to the farm. LOLOLOLOLOLOL
