Arizona Chickens

googled Monsanto, Dow and USDA guns learned something new today! Annoying though. You guys are really eye opener here.

By the way, can anyone recommend a good book about Da Vinci or the social political structure of the time?

Just wanted to say hello to my fellow AZ BYC members. Just joined a few days ago.

So, what kind of chickens do you have, and what part of the state are you located in?

OOOPS! Just saw the Mesa in your avatar. I used to work up at Falcon Field.

I work near Falcon Field, at a company called Trans-matic. We have a Silver Duckwing Bantom. We currently have 10 Silver Duckwing and 16 Ameraucana eggs in the incubator. We also have 8 Welsh Harlequin duck eggs in a seperate incubator. The chicken eggs are on day 14 and the ducks are on day 5.

I enjoy reading the thread. Wish I had chickens, but with this heat, I'm glad I don't.

Anyone getting any rain this evening? I can see dust coming....

@Mahonri I am at work at the South end of Pinal County, just over the Pima County line. We have already had a pretty good dust storm, and a little lightning. I can smell rain, but haven't got any yet. Presently unloading a couple aircraft engines off a truck, and running around tying everything down that might get blown around.

@wldlfe I raise Black Jersey Giants, Partridge Cochins, and thinking about starting some Black Copper Marans. Presently in the middle of moving further west, the thing slowing me down is building a new chicken run at the new place.
