... I also have no homeowners association here in Mesa where I live, and back in the day when I was pregnant with my second child, I received a citation on my yard in the front. It was for 6 to 8 inches tall a few pieces & patches of grass I missed underneath my orange tree, when the rest of the yard was immaculate. I told the the Mesa city ordinance lady that, that was the best I could do for it at seven months pregnant for my yard there and at the time didn't have extra money to hire somebody to do more for me. I couldn't believe they were picking on me & other elderly folks like that. I would've understood if my whole yard was maybe 8 inches tall and trashy looking, that might've made more sense. I also feel she should've offered me some volunteer or group of volunteers it might've come to help for those that are not always able and who may be less fortunate due to health issues, age etc. etc.
Unfortunately this iPad won't let me access the website from the desktop icon I have on it, so I'm sorry if I didn't put the at correctly, I can't quite remember exactly what the quotes are for that.
My EEs and OEs are getting older so I'm looking to adding some EE, OE pullets next year......love those colored eggs!! BTW I too have a leghorn that crossed with a leghorn barnyard mix that has black spots and lays a very light cream colored egg.

Hi!!
Never do business with a friend and his brother on a handshake and his word. I was forced out of the bar and am currently unemployed. It's a bummer of a story and best told over some homebrew. You're welcome to come by mi casa anytime.
Yard and alley are clean.

Needing help identifying this girls breed. Feathered feet, lays a dark egg like a maran is a purebreed something....
I also have three buff orpington/mutt cross juvenile roosters I am looking to rehome. For someone to raise for meat or whatever. They are free.
Can anyone in the Arizona Chicken group help me euthanize a 5 month old pullet?
My son's pullet, "Buffy" is wobbly on her legs & just not developing as she should. We took her in from really bad conditions so I know her nutrition was poor. I honestly don't know if it's a disease, but she seems ok otherwise, I pray it's not for the health of my others! In either case, she doesn't seem fixable according to the vet & she also isn't looking as if she'll be able to lay. I would rather humanely put her down now rather than to let her become egg bound later or get hurt with her falling. I've only had chickens about 6 months & although I'm great at taking care of them, I just can't do this, but it needs to be done for her own best interest. I just can't actually do it myself, just yet. I don't know anyone with chickens, so I'm reaching out to my backyard chicken group. I'm on a college student + mom budget right now & I feel we did our good deed taking them in. I already spent $75 at the vet & they recommend euthanasia, but the lowest cost is $200!!!
Can anyone with experience help me out with this? I don't mind paying a small fee
Thank you in advance
