Arizona Chickens

My Aunt lives up near Springerville Arizona, and has a few roosters she needs to give to forever homes, I belueve there are 3, 2 old english bantams and I believe a Standard Silver laced Wyandotte boy, (but I could totally be wrong about that one)

She is wanting to give them to someone who wont eat them, they are not worth cooking in my opinion, too many feathers to meat ratio XD

One of them I am especially fond of, his name is Pee Wee.(Bantam)

the 2 male bantams look alot like this.

as for the questionable silver laced Wyandotte, I will have to ask. If anyone is interested near tucson area, or the Springer ille area, please feel free to message me!
I am currently in the process of buying a bunch of land northeast of St. Johns, but wont be moving there for a few more years, so not ready for more chickens. Eh, chicken math. I say I'm not ready for more chickens, but just got 20 more chicks this weekend, and have an order in for 15 more. Probably need to go out and do a headcount, I think I am in the neighborhood of 100 or so, but plan on culling at least 15 in the next week or two (most of my roosters).

This warm weather so soon after all that rain caused a wood door in the back of my coop to warp just enough that a couple girls were able to squeeze out and into the dangerous zone of my pit bull dog. Alas, one black copper and one easter egger are no longer with us.

The door is all fixed now and I made some upgrades to the electric fence.

If anyone has any chickens that they need to find homes for, I have space. Economics are tight so I am not looking to buy right now, though I do when I can.
Sorry about your loss. They sure can squeeze through some tight openings. I hope you can find a few replacements.

It's always so nice and quiet once the extra roosters are gone!

The muscovies were at the point of lay so my talented hubby made this nest box for them. They just knew it was going to kill them for a few days and wouldn't go near it until I put treats near it. A fake egg also helped! It was just in time as the first Muscovy started laying this week. She's loving her new nest box.

The ducks enjoying fresh straw.

What breeds do you get cyborg?

I went down to get some red sex links, but they were out, so I picked up 5 partridge Cochin pullets, and 15 straight run California Whites. They are getting more sex links in this Friday, so I had them reserve 15 for me.
One of my BCM roosters came down with MG, so I had to go out and get some tylan 50 and syringes this morning, and he is already looking lots better.
I have a broody Ameraucana that I put in with the chicks that was looking poorly, so I gave her a tylan shot too, but when I checked on her just now, I think she's not going to make it. She was torn up pretty well from an aggressive rooster, not MG, so the tylan may have been a mistake.

Awe, poor girl! So sorry.

Does anyone have any advise on what I should do for my chicks? I've never had chickens before and I just got 6 Golden Sex Links yesterday from the local TSC and they're great very happy with them. I just don't know a lot about raising chickens and I also couldn't find a whole lot on the breed itself so any advise would be nice.
Thanks!

Love the partridge Cochin.. We had a few years ago...
Did the cockerel tear her up because she was sick or from mating? How is she now... Chicken math has got you..
