Arizona Chickens

@SonoranChick Geez I hope tomatoes are not bad for them!! I froze so many tomatoes from Pow-Wow that I wondered if I'd have room for other things. I've been able to get "extra" grape tomatoes and such when I go because they save those for feed or compost for anyone who want to take them. I take some. Last time I took extra eggplant and my girls do not seem to like eggplant. DANG anyhow. Pow-Wow is a good deal if you have a chance. $10 bucks for 60+ pounds of food. Much of it is organic too.
Mine don't like peppers either - DARN...….
My hens will pick at the peppers if I open them up

They have different locations weekly on Saturdays, $10 gets you up to 60 lbs of produce. They both list what produce they expect to be available on their websites or weekly e-mails

He stopped coming here after the garage incident, he's been on the site I saw him on another thread wasn't quite happy with that thread.... or him
I'm afraid he took our concern for his chickens as being picked on... I'm sorry about that, he has built such a beautiful coop for them, we just wanted them to be able to use it.

Well I thought everyone's concern was great, I honestly don't think chickens can survive in a garage its got to be hotter in there so it doesn't make sense to me and I wonder, you know?

Found three kissing bugs in the coop this morning :sick They were under the metal water container on a piece of concrete. I squashed them and then checked everywhere for more, and moved the water thing to a different spot. I know we have nasty bugs out in the desert but I don't like actually SEEING them lol. Made me feel itchy for a while after.

So much drama in the coop today!! My BO, barnevelder, AND barred rock have all gone broody on me :he:he:he and in this heat, that's like chicken suicide. I'm going to give them a cool bath like the video @BlueBaby posted a while back, and hope to get this under control. I feel like they are conspiring against me! "Let's all go broody together!"
Then, the Delaware has somehow figured out how to get up onto the new clear roof, and of course she decorated it with poop everywhere :barnie I have no idea how she got up there, it's like 9 or 10 feet from the ground. It's too high up for me to be able to clean it, and because it's a clear roof, it's on full display!
What are these chickens thinking?!
