I need to vent for a moment...I'm irritated with my husband.

He made doggie steps and used this metal trim on the edges. Yea it looks good but I was concerned one of the dogs would cut themselves on the sharp edges. Oh no, he said, everything will be fine. Frankie now has a cut on one foot and can't go to the park to play. I'll be looking it over in the morning to decide how to deal with it.

I said hey, we need to cover the garden door with hwc because if the owls flush the quail they can get them through the chicken wire. Oh no, he said, everything will be fine. It wasn't then either.

I want to punch him in the nose right now

Just checked on him and put some grains in front of him and he started pecking at them.

I know how you feel when it comes to disagreements like that. It took me a year to talk hubby into putting up chicken wire over the top of my 2' x 4" welded wire all over the run that I wanted to be able to keep most of the wild bird's and snakes out of there. The wild bird's were getting in there like crazy and raiding my feeders. Plus, I think I had about 50 wild bird's in the coop itself back then.

Thanks! She is pretty, glad I got her they thought she was a RIR (rhode) but I knew that was wrong

Thanks DC, I knew I wasn't the only woman to have this issue lol. I took care of the quail pen myself already, the dog today.
