Arizona Chickens

I know it is. As long as I don't have any frozen chickens out there, I'm ok. We weren't planning to go anywhere tonight. Just staying in and avoiding the check points and drunk driving of party goer's. We are planning on doing dinner out and a movie with a friend of our's tomorrow, though.

@BlueBaby - VICE is supposed to be very good. Its about Dick Cheney. We saw the MULE with Clint Eastwood. I enjoyed it. Goes with the law enforcement background probably.
@igorsMistress It IS cold out!! Had to go to TS and the wind came up, then a bit of rain. Never a good thing when I'm cold. My dad was checking weather and said we are in for some colder, colder weather. I may get out my heater for the NN girls as their coop is pretty open overall. They are cooler, cooler in the summer when I think it really counts but the winter months not so much. I do dislike the cold.
We will be staying home as well. Maybe the 1st will be somewhat warmer and sunny so we can go over to the Eloy Airport and watch the jumpers a bit. Blankets will keep us warm!!

I think VICE looks amusing but dang it's expensive to go to the mocies so we wait for netflix or cable usually.

@igorsMistress We were gifted 2 ticket's for Christmas from a friend that are good for 1 movie, so that part isn't going to cost us anything except if we buy anything like a soda there. We won't have to buy food because we will be eating probably at Red Robin's before we go to see the movie. We only go to see a movie once or twice a year, so the movie theater's don't get rich off of us for sure.

@FeatherPugs I would have probably chose seeing the Mule, or even that Aquaman one, but somehow men always get to be the one that chooses. Oh, well.

Well I didn't make it to see the New Year in BUT the book I was reading is great. Happy New Year all ya'all!!
AND it didn't get real cold here either - just wet but to be sunny later today. Good thing too - I have a van full of feed to unload!

2019 certainly knows how to make an entrance. We awoke to snow! Not a big deal if we lived in Northern AZ, but down here on the valley floor...It's kind of a once in a decade kinda thing.

Happy New Year Everyone, what's everyone else's weather like? we are freezing , 38 degree's and the wind chill factor probably takes it down around 30. I know it's cold out cause the girls and Billy Bob would not stand outside long enough to eat their scratch..lol.. their water bowl was frozen solid, so I had to put a water bowl in their coop. Got the heat lamp hooked up over the chicks. it will put out a little heat for the rest of the coop.. will check on it again before bed time.
