Is Fugly too big, now?
Not too big, no. We want eggs and meat and my girls aren't very big. Since females determine the size of the offspring, I need bigger girls.
Fugly has grown too big for the pop door though, so hubs has to make a bigger one.

Of the two that hatched from you, Jacob finally was able to pick up the roo so I only have Pepper left.... She's a smallish hen, but she has a lot of personality, she makes a good addition to my small (7hen) flock
Are you keeping them? Do they have naked necks?
Yeah.. as long as the girls keep picking up the speed, should not be a issue, I'll look at buying some fertile eggs or trading some with a couple of people here that I know that have "mutts" one friend sells hers as a "dozen" for 2.00 per, another friend, I gave him one of my roo's from my first hatch so he had new blood in his group, can trade him some of mine for some of his..just to introduce new blood in to my flocks gene pool. I'm not hatching to get certain traits, only traits I'd like to duplicate is the egg laying..lol, my sex links are great layers, from what I've read, it's up to 300 per year, so we shall see, right now the hatching is to help a couple of friends get their flocks going, one had to give her's up because of hitting a financial bad spot, the other lost his to a coyote attack. Both are wanting the hens for eggs.If your new incubator is a 24 count, then even 5 egg's laid a day would give you 30 egg's after 6 day's. That would more than fill it for you!

Thank you@nicollee I'm glad that Pepper is working out for you. CCLB is for Crested Cream Legbar. The 3 that I had were laying blue egg's. I only have one of those left here now that I haven't sold yet. She's just getting over her molt, and all of her pretty feather's are coming back.
