Unfortunately, no blue eggs, small beige almost white egg. Was hoping they would get bigger, but it's been about two weeks, and she lays almost every day... same size. They are very cute.... My older EE's lay sporadically, so out of 7 hens I'm getting 3-4 a day .
Though, I may be losing some to the tortoise den, I found a clutch we had to dig out of there.
I don't know why, but I thought you had told me cornish cross, I was very confused...

The hatching egg's that you got from me were tan. The only possibility of what would have hatched from those at that time would have been from the 4 naked necked hens, or my single Splash Australorp hen. I have no Cornish crosses here. If Pepper has only been laying egg's for 2 week's, give her time to start laying bigger egg's.

Edit: If you would have gotten any blue egg's from me and they hatched, you would have had hen's that layed green egg's.

Pepper has all the time she needs.
So the tan eggs were from NN hens, and what type of roo?

The roo is Charley, shown in my avatar. Him and all 4 of my nn hen's are mixed with Breese. I got mine through @cactusrota

Edit: Since you said that your girl is blue in color, I am almost thinking that it could have been an egg that was laid by my Splash Australorp hen, as her linage run's in the Black, Blue, and Splash.

Yes, I'm keeping them. Both of the nn/cclb pullet's are naked neck with bib's and crest's, and black leg's. They are both white colored in feathering with a few scattered black feather's throughout the white. I'm waiting for them to start laying to see what color of egg that they will throw. @Suzyqschickens has one of the mother's to them, as I sold Miss Foofy to her.

@nicollee I'm glad that Pepper is working out for you. CCLB is for Crested Cream Legbar. The 3 that I had were laying blue egg's. I only have one of those left here now that I haven't sold yet. She's just getting over her molt, and all of her pretty feather's are coming back.

Very cool. Are the Bresse/nn bigger than the cclb over all? Hubs wanted a couple of the cclb for the egg color but I want to reduce my chicken flock to 6. It's really a more manageable amount for our yard. I'm thinking about getting rid of all but the one Nn girl that has white spots on black. That means I can buy 4 girls or hatching eggs.

I know it's not good to breed brother to sister, but I wonder if half siblings are ok. Will have to look into that.

@nicollee Pepper is looking good. Even though she is blue, she has white feathering on the head, right? It look's like she's darker around the eyes like my white nn hen that @igorsMistress liked.

@igorsMistress No, the 2 nn/cclb pullet's are smaller than the nn/breese. They are bigger than the full cclb hen that I still have here though, and she's up for sale or trade. ;) The breeder's say that you can breed brother to sister, but you can only do it one time if the two have something that you want as far as certain characteristic's. My hen's are different breed's because I wanted more genetic variation. Plus, with the different color of the egg's, I knew what breed the hen's were that laid it. You don't have to buy any hatching egg's, as I would trade mine with you, if you took the half sibling egg's. I have 2 blue hen's that are a mix of cclb/Australorp that are laying green egg's, one of them has the crest. They have feathered neck's though, so would probably only give you the nn with bib's. They wouldn't be related to Fugly, but his daddy would be the father of the egg's.

Ok, we will chat some privately, I need to think about what I want to do. We are getting a cone this Spring and the cclb you're trying to get rid of? She's a straight cclb no cross and lays blue eggs? I might want her, will talk to the man and pm you.

No, her comb doesn't flop over, and she lay's light blue egg's. I think she's one of the crealey (or however you spell it), because she has the wild type brownish feathering. She's just finishing the molt and has her pretty feather's back again. She hatched on January 7th of 2018. I got her from @howesmr back when he was still coming to this thread, and he told me that they were the GFF one's. She is the lone chick that hatched from the egg's that I got from him.

Whoooey!! I don't have that kind of money to throw around on shipping! :p If anyone knows of someone local who may have extra pullets let me know!

Some of us do have pullet's that are available, but they aren't the normal EE's found at the hatcheries. For instance... I have some that are laying green egg's, but they don't have the puffy cheek's. I got mine by breeding a different way.
