How much bleach? I'm also going to be looking into getting some new water pan's for mine because I want to get away from using these galvanized metal one's. They are starting to look bad in the bottoms. They stand in those too. Black one's sound like they might work better.
Just like a capful per gallon. Not alot.
I go to the Dollar General/Dollar Tree type stores and get the cheap cat litter pans and dish pans. Walmart has similar dishpans, too. If they get too nasty or whatever I don't have to care because they're cheap. So I just get a stack and use a couple at a time. I always end up using some for other things too.. (just like in the pic.. haha!!)

Look's and sound's good to me! Thank's! The price is reasonable, and the chicken's that I have are big enough to be able to drink over the top of it. It can also fit ice into it nicely when I will need it.

Edit: I was just out there mixing up some fermented batches for the chicken's. I use those washed out jars that the spaghetti sauce come's in. 2 part's feed, 1 part scratch, 1 part water. Shake to mix and then loosen the lid back up slightly to allow for any expansion.

I got a 5 gallon eaterer at TSC a while ago. The lid lifts off, more than big enough to put ice in it. It's plastic not galvanized. You can add a little acv or just clean them with white vinegar if they get gross.

I bookmarked it online I think I'll pick one up when I get my bonus from work this Spring. Thanks for the update!
I looked for better prices on ebay and amazon, by the time shipping and handling for a used unit was added, it was more expensive than buying one direct brand new from the manufacturer.. at least with the manufacturer, if I had a issue I had someone to fix it. My 24 count incubator has shipped :) , got to wait till after this batch hatches before I consider doing another.. going to have to maybe buy eggs from a friend or hope my girls keep getting quicker..lol.. I've started averaging 5 to 7 eggs per day now out of 12 girls.

If your new incubator is a 24 count, then even 5 egg's laid a day would give you 30 egg's after 6 day's. That would more than fill it for you!

I bookmarked the manufacturer and would buy new more than likely. I'm so excited to try it, humidity was a constant battle for me!
