Arizona Chickens

@starri33 see I did misread - I thought she was with the babies - not just hearing them. All will be well with her. She hurts big time I'm sure. You're a good chickie mommy.
I might have said it confusing..lol, I'm good at confusing people. she's in the same room, but has her own tote.. we have three bedrooms, one of the guest rooms has been taken over for my hatching and brooding.. one side of the bed is the brooder box and the other has become the hospital ward..lol.. she's doing better, I went to check her food bowl, she pecked me.

My patient looks more beat up than what I first thought. They got her back, her tail, part of the bottom under the vent and her wings along with under the wing a bit.. but she's going to pull through. Filling her feed bowl got me pecked.. so she certainly has a attitude.

I have just posted in the sex and breed group, this pic with a question about what sex.. but can any of you tell me? I was told hen and didn't pay attention till this morning. I went to check on everyone and he/she started making this noise that sounded like a sad attempt at crowing, standing on tip toe, looking like he/she wanted to flap wings, he/she is somewhere between 4 to 6 week old.

This is the time of year to see parents flying back & forth to nests feeding their young. One little fledgling fell from the nest yesterday. I called my neighbor & we placed this little one back in the nest with it’s sibling. You can see the nest to the right above the ladder..If you ever find any bird in need of help give East Valley Wildlife a call. http://eastvalleywildlife.org

Give it a little more time or post up a photo from the side so we can see his comb or back feathers
