nope, those eggs were from last year but I'm still hoping... these were from a couple weeks ago.

Lyongirl, this is what the barred mixes look like. Some may be pure barred rock, but no guarentees.

Bob, it looks like 3 Silkies (should all have 5 toes) and silver laced Wyandottes. The one in the left bottom corner is likely a rooster. I'm sad to see no Phoenix or cochins or frizzled polish. Are they still in the hatcher?​

Anyone out there that has some eggs to hatch I might be looking for some, I would be looking for more pure breeds than mixes but message me with what you have. You could practice your in state shipping skills on me. I usually do pretty well with shipped eggs.

WHOO HOOO! I just ordered some chicks. Ive really been wanting these chicks and they just came available. I have been watching for them every day! Im getting some White Faced Black Spanish and Salmon Faverolles!!!

I will have 7 Buff Orpington chicks with Marrecks Vaccines available. I will be asking $2.75 for them. Its actual cost of the vaccinated chicks. All Pullets. I wasnt really wanting to buy these chicks but they were a cheap pullet filler. They will be arriving Jan 31st 2011. If anyone is interested in the Buff Orpingtons, plase let me know, otherwise I will take them to the feed store. I'll also be getting a free exotic mystery chick...Cant wait to see what it is. Last time I got the free mystery chick, I never did figure out what it was and neither did the people in the What breed am I section.

NoSkiveez, yes, they are still in the incubator, 2 more have hatched so far. I don't want to open it too many times, just in case it makes a difference. I'll probably be taking them out about 4:00 2 of the eggs said polish frizzle, one said SLW, the oterhs either weren't marked, or the chick broke the shell through the writing to get out.

for your new chicks. My last free chick was a Golden Polish, ( I think that's what I found) but it disappeared. I'm afraid the hawk may have gotten it, it was a pretty independant critter, but awfully cute.

Yeah baby, go chickens, yeah baby, I'm good! Finally got my CC&R's and it looks like as long as they aren't loud or a nuisance and the coop isn't visable over our 6 foot block wall I'm gonna be good to go! So between now and February I'm going to get me some chickens!!!! I'm shopping, oh yeah...and I happy? You betcha!

I think the unmarked eggs were in the Frizzle polish coop. There were white crested black polish rooster, black Frizzle cochin rooster, red cochin rooster and 3 red Frizzle cochins, 1 white Frizzle cochin hen and 1 black cochin hen. I don't think it was laid by the polish. I'm anxious to see if they Frizzle.

Mclevinson - I have a bunch of silkie chicks and silver laced Wyandotte chicks available. I think Chrystal may have some Silkies available too!
