You have that right! I have egg's here from my own flock if I want scrambled egg's.

The automatic turner is now turned on. Although it's still early, I seem to have at least half of them that are showing embryo growth in them.

@igorsMistress I was just out locking up the coop because of thunder, and the biggest black silkie out there just crowed to let me know he's a boy. I hope that my big blue silkie doesn't crow. I want to breed those 2 later.

@starri33. It occurred to me you tagged me about using the humidikit ages ago and I was going to reply but never did. I'm so sorry, my mom was losing her mind over possible breast cancer and I was distracted by that drama. Did you get it figured out?

I forgot all about it, I believe it was in relation to someone's question about keeping the humidity stable, being distracted over something like that is quite understandable, how's she doing? I had the same issue with my mom before she passed, called my brother for help, he didn't bother showing up for 3 days, his pigeon's were more important, I didn't talk to him for over 3 yrs.

@Diannastarr , had a 6 out of 6 hatch, but lost a couple, not sure why. One was a bow tie who would have had gorgeous coloring. I am truly amazed that any hatched, but it shows me what quality of stock that @BlueBaby has. The other 4 are doing wonderful, ( 3-NN's, and a full feather) making messes as normal, lol. I felt sorry for them yesterday, as they were all trying to feed out of one hole on the feeder, so I filled the feeder and pulled it out of where it was up against the side of the tote, they've now wasted 1/2 of the feed..lol. I'd let them clean up the mess, but they'd be eating poo. Charlie and the Angels who I got from her are doing great. I've got to get them more room in the run before I transfer the other NN's I have, by text book, they have more than enough room, I get claustrophobic, just looking at it, so if I would not live there, my chickens are not either. lol. I've got some of the eggs from Charlie and the girls setting aside, waiting for the incubator, but I keep telling myself I do not need any more chicks at the moment..lol. I have the 4 from BlueBaby that I hatched. 3 from a broody, 2 Americana's, that I'd hatched and the girls that I am calling the wingettes that I got from her.. I do have one hen who is acting like she wants to go broody, so I am letting her. We'll see if she does.

I can understand that. My mom is fine thanks, no cancer thank goodness.
