Easiest way for folks down here to keep COVID out of their house... keep your A/C off and go buy a humidifier... 95° with 65% humidity or higher for 24 hrs kills off the Coronavirus family (going off old information from SARS and MERS which are also in the Coronavirus family) that’s why poorer tropic countries actually do better with this kind of stuff... 🤷‍♂️ Now I’m no scientist but I learn a lot from reading old case studies (I’m a former Paramedic...)

Yeah but also the number of deaths from the flu is lower because there is a vaccine for it... and there isn’t one widely available for COVID (mostly because it’s still in test phase)... to have something comparable in the Influenza family you would have to look way back at the Spanish Flu... which has COVID beat... 🤷‍♂️ Just saying it’s like comparing apples to bananas
I don't agree. It doesn't matter why, it's a simple fact that statistically covid is deadlier than influenza and it spreads like the flu. The 1918 flu was still influenza, but a very deadly strain. Nature does that once in a while. I know plenty of people who never get a flu shot and don't get the flu very often.

i think quarantine so far has been a good way to at least slow the spread of the virus but with so much conflicting news going around people are overreacting and panic buying which is starting its own problem :hmm
There would not have been any need for the "panic" buying if people would have been sensible and had their preparations in place. Instead of buying 2 can's of corn, buy 3. Keep minimum 3 months worth of supplies on hand. It doesn't take something like this to put you between a rock and a hard spot.

Welcome to herd immunity literally what we use vaccines for 🤣🤣🤣 if there aren’t enough people around you that can’t carry the disease you can’t get it... I can’t get the flu vaccine (I end up hospitalized with hives and my airway closing if I get the flu vaccine) and the last flu I got was H1N1 because not enough people got vaccinated for it...

Uh huh. And the people who don't get it often have a natural immunity rather than what "the experts think will pop up so they create it" and then it doesn't work because nature changed things unexpectedly. Oopsie.
