Arizona Chickens

We’ve lived here for almost 4 years now and sent them so many letters and phone calls that they just don’t return! I doubt they would want to take legal action since then they’ll really be obligated to put work into the neighborhood, but if it comes down to it I think I’d be willing to take them to court ;) For now I guess you could say we aren’t on speaking terms:gig

Keep good record's of everything then.

Do any of you know, can i put in a ladder instead of a ramp into the coop for D'uccles? They like to sit in the ramp and make poop cement piles. Id rather it fall through ladder rungs that i can then just scoop. I know it works for large chickens, but not sure about their little bantam legs.
I’m sure they’d be fine with it as long as each “step” isn’t too far apart or placed too high. I think the biggest concern would be if the ladder would stay steady while they walked on it or if it would move with each step, some chickens might not like an unsteady surface to walk on.

Ill attach it permanently, but they are so funny about things. They might actually like standing on the rungs.. ill have to test it out. I'll have other modifications to make too.. need to as some trim above each tray so the litter doesn't go over the edge.. but first, gotta finish the Neverending kitchen project!

They might end up liking the ladder and roosting on it!
