Arizona Chickens

Sorry to hear your HOA is giving you problems. Never lived with one, but they sound like a bunch of busybodies. Somebody bought a large parcel of land about 10-12 miles away and decided to try to divide it up into a new "subdivision" and sell the lots with HOAs attached. None are selling, even though half the west coast is moving out here and there are Californians living in tents on the acreage they bought. If this keeps up, I'll have to move in a few years. But the HOA lots--nobody's even looking at them.

I've started moving the carton with the freshest eggs from side to side so the innards won't stick before they go into the incubator. I'd like to make sure the chick warmer is here before starting incubation. It's supposed to be here in about a week which would normally be plenty of time, but if the regular UPS driver is gone, it may not get here in three weeks. I've had substitute drivers call or return packages because they couldn't find the house. Most things go to the PO box, but some places won't ship to a PO box, so the UPS fun begins. :barnie

I never even heard of an hoa until i left California, so they aren't going to get lots of takers from there. And the whole point of moving out of the city is to have your own space, so i wonder who they are hoping to appeal to?

One thing i don't think many people are aware of is that the residents in an hoa can vote to terminate the hoa! I have lived in one of those, and yes there was a purple house, but who cares?

I need to figure out who has become an egg eater 😭 but even if i figure it out, then what?

Yep, raw land with no water or septic, but hey, they have an HOA. Not sure what that's all about.

If she is becoming a habitual egg eater, then I would either separate her from the other's so that the only egg that she can eat will be her own, or introduce her to the stew pot.
