Arizona Chickens

That's great! Hoover's will almost certainly arrive in 2 days vs 3, so that's very good for mail order. You could also sell the extras on craigslist, lots of people up here have chickens, and many of them will be able to integrate the young birds in with their existing hens.
Oh, I know it will be easy to find homes for a few but thought I would offer them to you all first. 😊

I am so happy that the air conditioner was fixed last night. We sat in the heat over here for 2 day's. I read the in-side/out-side thermometer yesterday and both said 102-F. When it was fixed and working, the poor dog stayed on the vent to cool off until I finally put him to bed. Today he has also been married to the vent.

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of ordering some chicks from Hoover's this Friday. We really only want two or three of each of Black Australorps and Buff or Dark Brahmas, but of course we have to buy 5 of each, minimum of 15.
My daughter talked me down from chicken math. We're only getting what I reaaaaallly want. 😏

Well, if that happens, so be it. I cannot be held responsible for the actions of others. 🤣
:lau That happens sometimes. If you won't do chicken math on your own, someone else is more then willing to do it for you. ;)

And here I am already looking for another breeder to get more of those Bielefelder hatching egg's from.

Can't blame you. They are lovely birds!
I have found that they like to stand right next to you when you go out to the coop and run. The best thing though, is being able to sex them at hatch. I intend to start breeding these myself, so if someone want's to buy only the females, I won't have to wait for them to grow out so I would know that they weren't boy's. I will be able to guarantee that they are girl's even as day old's.
