comb is bigger than the others so maybe a roo... too early to tell still tho... And like you said even a NN/Bielefelder roo is useful in this project.
It seems to have the lighter colored barring in the feathering that the male Bielefelder's get, so you might be right.

The cats here are kind of naive - they are not well aware of the danger a dog or coyote poses to them and think they are invisible/invincible or that a fence will contain the predator. They don't think they need to be fast and they just sit in an assumed safe place on other side - but too many breaks/changes in fence materials.

Well, I guess that made the cat a sitting duck. I've heard that the coyotes will go after those smaller dog's too.

@CaroleW I was looking at the picture in the larger version, and I didn't see any dropped wattles on it that would indicate a male at this time, although that feathering seems lighter then the Bielefelder pullet's are. It's mother is that red Naked Neck hen, but I'm not seeing the red from her in the chick.
I am seeing the red in the breast of both the NN and the 1/2 NN (without a naked neck) from the mother. I just don't have it in most of my pics.

I'm in Tucson, AZ. I stumbled across this thread and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm raising Yokohama Red Shoulders, Olandsk Dwarfs, oegb Creles and Spangles, Call ducks and peafowl. I have a few random other birds like Ayam Cemani and Alohas that I don't breed.
I love the idea of a thread for local bird keepers. ❤️

Welcome @ChicksnMore - glad you found us. I had to look up the Olandsk Dwarf - haven't even heard of that one before. You have a nice variety of birds. Do they all get along or do you have to house separately or free range or X? I guess you would have breeding pens for some.
