Arizona Chickens

Really enjoying the rain here too! Can't wait to see this spring's wildflowers. With all the rain we've had, it should be a spectacular display!
We enjoy a long drive once a year to go see flowers, I’m looking forward to it as we skipped the last couple of years.
From Florida. She's been here in mid-summer a few times🥵 and also mid-winter. It'll be lovely if everything is in bloom.
I hope we have perfect weather and lots of flowers when she’s here.

@Happy Novogens That cookbook that you let me know about arrived today. I was just skimming through it.
Some of my favorites...
French Toast Strata (with the cider syrup!) p.162 - this was a must-have on Christmas morning for years. Make the night before and bake in morn.

Challah Bread - p.245 - Tasty. I've used leftover chocolate (from making peanut butter eggs) to ice (actually pour on) the top of this bread...mmmm, mmmm!

Baked Deli Sandwich - p. 185 - is a fun one. Once it's been made you can probably think of all kinds of variations for future baking. I top with parmesan before it's done baking.

I was reading the ingredient's to those last 2 there that you mentioned when I skimmed through the book earlier. They looked good to me.

All of those sound delicious 😋

@Happy Novogens You said that you also have another one of those cookbook's by them. What recipes are good from that one that you like?
I have the 2002 version as well.

The peanut butter eggs recipe is in that one. (where I got the extra choc to put on the challah bread)

Chocolate coffee - another favorite at Christmas to add to coffee or hot chocolate. I snapped a photo just now of a 2nd bowl I still have left from this Christmas.

Macaroon Fruit Dip

Cherry Chocolate Cookies

Oh... and a Broccoli Souffle that was really good!

Looking through the book to answer your question, I'm seeing a number of recipes I still would like to try. :D

Ok, ok! You twisted my arm hard enough. I went back to Amazon and bought that book too, and it was cheaper then the first one was. :gig

Edit:

Actually I have been looking for a few hard covered cookbook's. I want them for my shelf. You can't do that by having them on a CD, and printing out ton's of recipes cost's paper and ink. If they keep attacking our infrastructures, all of the online stuff can be lost, but I will still have the book's. ;)
