Peoria is too far? Don't tell my husband that! I managed to talk him into taking me there to buy a used sink on CL for $40 (with faucet) after I showed him the same sink at lowes for $260 more and no faucet!

Finally got my priorities straight this weekend and painted the outside of my chicken palace

. Guess three or four more weekends and I will be all set (want to make another little seperate run with gate, need to install the chicken condos, and put rain cover over it all). (where is the smiley with the tool box?)

Okay all you chicken experts, I need some help trying to figure out what breed hens I have. I think they look like the Catalanas put they breed page claims they lay white eggs. I get large brown eggs so I'm wondering if they are not the New Hampshire Reds. What do you all think??


Okay so does anyone know how to upload a picture so I can at least show you what they look like?

Okay so I at least now know that you can't post pictures until you are no longer a "new egg".. wonder how long that takes..
