Arizona Chickens

Hmmm...that is pretty awful! Did you take him out?

I think he just hates my 12yo, and for some reason, all roosters do. Every chick she has ever had (3) has turned out to be a rooster. Then a friend gave me this silkie pair. Somehow the rooster ended up being hers. And he hates her, just like the rest. I think it has something to do with the fact that his silkie girl LOVES her and wants to be held by her all the time.

I was thinking of going to the feed store in Tucson on Friday and getting chicks. If nobody wants him, I can just sell him back to them for $4. That's a free chick at least.

My heart is heavy for you. I will pray and believe that the number of your days will extend beyond any ones expectations, that your lungs enjoy full deep breaths always, that you are never winded or overly tired in daily exercises and chores, that your heart beats the right amount of blood to the members of you body and that none of your family's health history will be apart of your life. Dr's. usually give the worst scenarios and they are not always right. Blessing on you and yours always.

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear you are so ill, and also about your father

I hope you both will be well enough to have chickens and turkeys for a long time to come! I will keep you both in my prayers.

Sooo happy to be off of work the next two days ... I think the chicks will be out in their coop a lot with temps almost to 80 degrees

. I'll have to spend lots of time chick watching to make up for two whole days at work (12 hour shifts). Ummm I'm getting called "chicken lady" at work now. Maybe I've shown them one too many chick videos?
