Trick Chicks or a Trick Hubby??

Hey Bob! Sorry things were sucky for you..... Hopefully Spring will bring more cheerful days.

I just got back from Phx and that construction sign on the 60 makes me cranky everytime I see it. Can't believe they are planning on having the interstate torn up for 6 months!! It is going to be a long summer. Looks like I will be shopping in Prescott.

Do chickens like them too??? I would imagine they would!

My chickens LOVE grape leaves! It really is one of their favorite things to eat.

Oh no!!! We will have to get more vines (only have two) since it's the torts most favorite thing in the world, even more than dandelions. Maybe tied with dandelion flowers though! I need to read your mealworm page again and get a culture started. The chickens sure go crazy over them! I also have a leopard gecko that likes them

I sure hope he is feeling better soon. Encourage him to take a pain pill. He will move around easier and more often, reducing some potentially serious complications. AND probably make your life much easier. Even just ibuprofen will help. (unless of course there is a reason he can't have it).

Take care of yourself!! Nursing sick husbands can be more draining than sick kids.

Awwww so cute!!! I love kitties, but I don't do chapstick and cat hair either! My Claude loves kneading on your lap, then he nuzzles his face into your clothes and drools all over you

Noskiveez... if they gave him pain meds, he should take them, but I wouldn't take anything with Ibuprophen for the first few days because if he has a tiny bleeder, that would only make it worse. PERCOCET.

Did they shave some more off his head?

Thanks for the well wishes for better times.

My grapes are just starting to bud out. The ones in pots on the patio have leaves already. My chickens LOVE the grape vines. Some fly up into them and sit and eat the leaves, and the rest of them eat all the leaves they can reach from the ground, jumping up as high as they can. Looks like the trees do when the giraffes eat all the lower leaves.

NoSkiveez, I second the opinion on your DH taking pain meds. Studies have shown quicker recovery times when you take them as needed. And, as Mahonri says, percocet is good stuff. Kills the pain, but doesn't make me sick or knock me out. If you are still stressed though, I have a coop and yard that need work.

We are looking at property about 3 miles down the road, much bigger lot, smaller house, with it's own well, WAY less money. If you think it's appropriate, I'd really appreciate your thoughts/prayers on my behalf. I've never asked before, but I'm beginning to think moving is the only way to retain what sanity I have left, ( and there isn't much of that!)

Yeah they got the little bump on his head. They said it didn't look like anything to worry about but they are checking anyways. Poor guy is in pretty rough shape. The gave him 50 percocets. We both thought it was a bit excessive. But then again, we try not to take medications like that unless we have to. He's still stained yellow everywhere. He's been sleeping a lot.

Lol. Bob.

Blessings with the new house. We know all about bigger lot, smaller house. We came back to Casa Grande to get ahead. Were on just under an acre (.98) but the best part us that we don't have another neighbors for about a mile all directions.
