Arizona Chickens

Beautiful day here in Tempe... Don't forget to put your dogies in... Fire works..
Just rescued a lost dog... We had fire works up till almost midnight Saturday evening..
Poor thing has probably been out looking for his family... Whenever there is a loose dog,
I have our Shetland sheep dog on hand.. She is the best... The little stinker came right up
to her.. Much easier to catch... They see another dog & are like "oh hi want play?"

My girls have been in their coop now for several nights. I think they are finally accepting it. My Bon (BO) seems to like setting in the door way. I know when someone is going in or wanting out, by the load, "hay! don't step on me" squawk. I have to chuckle .

I hope no one will complain about them, the girls have done so much to relax me, I do not like taking medication for stress. This is so much more fun, and more expensive, over Christmas it was figure how much I am paying for eggs, everybody agreed I have a bargain for fresh healthy (organic) eggs with Omega 3. I sat there and kept my mouth shut, didn't say a thing about the goodies I get for them, like fresh veggies I get for them or giving leftovers that I would have eaten the next day, or that I bought some beef, cooked it, Juliane it, gave it to both my dog and girls as a treat. We did have a good discussion on organic versus store bought feed mixes. I am learning to just let it be. The next time I get feed I am going organic, as my garden starts to produce I will start growing veggies just for them that help with Omega 3, I have a list someplace. But I do not believe my girls eggs can be called 100% organic, maybe 97.5% organic.
