Welcome from another former Washingtonian! I lived in Yakima before moving here 10 years ago.Hi, I live in Prescott Valley, less hot here than down in Phoenix. I originally bought my chicks and raised them from Washington State. I brought them here over the summer and they been doing pretty well. I'm currently going to buy more chicks/chickens in hatcheries. And sorry for that chick that died.![]()

This is important and this info ought to be mentioned on this thread every day until the final vote. Even if you have legal chickens now, you never know if your circumstances might change and you have to move to a place that doesn't allow them. I would also want my daughter to be able to raise chickens where ever she moves as she goes out on her own. I emailed all the reps but I still want to make the calls today.
