You need to teach a class on chicken math.. Include issues on;
Do boys add more or girls? What happens if there is a double yolk?
Can chickens count, do they want more brothers & sisters? What happens when you see
a friends chicken? Do chickens love humans?

Have not posted in a while but I am constantly lurking in this thread. Need help deciding. I have a empty pen, two incubators (one does 70 eggs and the other does 10) and an itch that needs to be scratched. But........ can't decide which way to go. I want a project. I want to hatch and then improve a single breed pen. Not as concerned about chicken appearance as quality of eggs. Can't decide between going Darkest brown, brightest olive, or brightest blue.......... Help me decide!!!!!

Personally I like all 3 colors.. Since you first mentioned to improve a single breed.. Go with that.. Not egg color..

Wow they are beautiful.. How many eggs do they lay a week

No eggs yet they are only 5 months old. I was told by Jan we should get eggs. they do not come up yet but I will work with them. My nibbles comes up to me (my white Roman Tuft) but she hates being picked up.

Me too. Mine will be 106 cubic inches with a six speed tranny.  The future is so bright, I gotta wear shades!

Mine will be 2 dog powered and great on gas. Yours will get ok gas mileage and be a chick magnet, which in turn, will cost you a lot. I'm sticking with the bicycle. (Until I can afford a Harley) lol

This reminds me, if you need pallets a great place to go are Granite/Stone places. Their pallets have to be stronger and they use all Hardwoods and some I've gotten are even Exotic Hardwoods.

Hmm I assume the reason the others are getting along is because they're siblings of sorts? Raised together so they don't find? Is Incorporating new ones impossible?

I would leave her.. However she could be a certain breed that goes broody more often.. Like our Cheryl this is the 4th time this year. Your landlord might want extra baby's to replace her older ones..how long has she been on the eggs?

Did I reply to this yet? I may order a few fertile eggs or go to AJ and let her hatch them. She does leave the best and eat and drink.

Awesome let us know.. We might have extra parts.. I use a old BMX bike for the dogs..my feet can touch the ground if I need to jump off for some reason.. Also, old school with the back pedal as the break. They never go in front of me even when I walk them.. It as been to hot.. I miss running them on the bike.. Good times..

I'll try to find the set up I've always used for exercising my working dogs. I'll be forging my own for my next bicycle. It keeps them in the perfect position for the ride.

This is my most beloved Joop who is now serving as a Mesa K9. (Really connected with this one and hopefully I will get him back when he retires). We used to ride a few times a week using the Springer and he would pull me for 6 miles. No peddling and whoa the speed. I taught him to turn Left and Right for going down streets and how to move out of the way on sidewalks for everyone else.

How are your chickens with bumble foot? Is that one new chicken a roster?

...about the same not worse and not much better than where I last left him off. ...since he has spurs and hasn't laid an egg would you assume it's safe to say he's a boy?..... But he sure has taken a liking to me and comes pretty close to me because next to me and I don't peCK him at all, lol! I'm not a good mama as I needed to do it again! last week I have been pretty busy with my household fall cleaning and I've got so much more plants to get in. I may have some more canas for you here in the next week or two...
