Your chick's sound spoiled. What breed do you have?

My favorite NN Turken cockerel was stung by a scorpion this morning. I got to him quickly and treated him with Benadryl...so far so good...but I'm worried sick over him.
I didn't think that chickens were effected by scorpion stings. Believe it or not, I had one on by bedroom wall, above my headboard. The catch, I am in Show Low. Yes, we have those nasty things here, along with the centipedes. I knew about the scorpions being found under the chickens waterers but in my house, yikes! Hope they don't harm any of my poultry.

How is your pretty boy doing? Hoping he's recovering well. :> I've always liked the look of the NNs, but don't currently have one. I had to re-home a cockerel last year, which was a bummer. :-(
