Arizona Chickens

I'm thrilled to report that my beloved boy appears to have recovered fully. He's eating, drinking, running, crowing....and mating with every female around him. AND he's more affectionate with me than ever. Now he rubs against my legs like a cat until I reach down and pet him. Such a good boy!

How is your pretty boy doing? Hoping he's recovering well. :> I've always liked the look of the NNs, but don't currently have one. I had to re-home a cockerel last year, which was a bummer. :-(

I love my NNs. They practically laugh at the heat we've been experiencing and have wonderful personalities. I had one snarky cockerel and one flighty one that I culled. My remaining cockerels are wonderful. One is very independent but obedient, one is simply docile, and this one is a love bug. I'll be breeding them this coming fall, focusing on size, egg production and personality.

Every cockerel I've had that started rubbing against my legs like a cat has eventually tried to flog me. Don't get too attached to him. Hope your bird is different and stays docile with you
