Arizona Chickens

She’s gorgeous! So far the chicks are curious and cute and I just want to cuddle them all!

they will get friendlier as they get older, before you know it they will run away from you, then they will run to you lol i just got in from my little ones and I had 7 that had jumped up onto my lap to cuddle i love it!! there was one on my chest, one on the shoulder 3 on one leg and 2 on the other

5 seems like a little, but as they get older they will seem like a lot, and they will eat alot too!!

you have lots to look forward to!

They already seem to at least be getting more comfortable with me around them. When I come in the room they don’t all run to the far side anymore! #progress :lau

with this last bunch of babies i didn't give them treats until they were outside and able to forage for grit.
babies eat their feed so well that i hate to teach them that there are other yummy things out there while they are still in the brooder, personally.

but if you do give it to them, don't forget the grit :)

naming these 19 has been harder than i thought. There are a couple who look like each other and they don't stick out to me yet bc they aren't as friendly as the others, so i have 16 names and there are 3 poor chickies out there that haven't been placed a name to the face...
here's my list
Augie, Marshmellow, cheeta, pollyanna, tigger, winnie, cleo (cleopatra), pina (peenya), piper, rockie, Fuzzy, brownie, mocha, bella, guava, honey,

3 more to go.. lol
