Arizona Chickens

Yippee for the toads! That means toads will be in our community pool too. Time to get out the toad gloves. No one will touch the toads to remove them UNLESS they can use the toad gloves - nope - don't know why.
Not unusual for us to never have what is put out there for weather! Still partly sunny, mostly cloudy - rain looking clouds but no rain - well maybe 14 drops here and there but nothing to gloat about - it will come. I knew the weather changed when I tried to get out of bed today so I didn't clean up poop. It will rain before I get to it.....:sick
Enjoy while you can - it'll be next week before we know it.:p

We are getting rain too, on and off since sunrise. It is so nice. My husband just got a big aggressive rattlesnake who was hanging out under the AC duct...we had not seen one in a while but maybe it came out in the rain.

Aww scary, I'll keep an extra lookout just in case here
it seems like you and I have similar storm patterns, must be in the same line lol

Looking east and :frow at ya! Lol

Callie stopped being broody poor baby couldn't get to her fave box bc of the separation it was funny though bc I was holding her and everytime Roo walked by she would poof out and broodies growl at him :lau

Rambita is still broody but she comes out for breaks she's not on eggs bc I donv want more but if I had wanted to she is the first broodie that trys to stay in the nest at roost time

Trying to find my roo a new home. Posted on Craigslist and my local neighborhood media. Thought maybe someone here might be able to help me out. Barred rock 4-5 months old just starting crowing and mounting the girls.

:frow right back at ya! I'll keep sending the clouds your way but I suppose I should keep the rattlesnakes to myself haha.

I love hearing the broody girls growl, they sound like baby dinosaurs or something :gig My Australorp and BO have the best "leave me alone" growls, so fierce yet so cute at the same time.
