Arizona Chickens

@Diannastarr sending positive healing thoughts your way. Hurting in any way is no fun.
@BlueBaby I've been all through my yard, checked all the places maybe she could hide like in the bamboo but nothing so I don't think she's hiding in the yard. BUT I did find a place where the wind had blown the barrier and maybe she got out through there. She would have had to get up high and fly to the ground. They aren't too good at that. I don't free range but I do have a large yard area. If she did that she is most likely coyote bait. On top of that she is a new layer - don't know if the roos had bred her or even if it took as the roos are young and fumble (a lot!). We will see.
@meetthebubus - round worms are long'ish spaghetti like worms. I could see them from "afar" but I saw them up close and wiggling! Yuck, yuck, yuck! We didn't start last night since it was supposed to rain. All we got was 15 drops. We did get wind, wind, wind and dust, dust, dust! So started today (just one day) and will begin throwing eggs. I'll medicate in a week again. I am not looking forward to those crawly poops although the wazine is supposed to paralyze them so they won't wiggle.
Today we expect about 105 degrees - I'll live with that. No extra water - thus no mud puddle today but I have frozen bottles galore and the NN girls have shown the others how to stand on the rounded bottles! Looks so funny but is so dang smart.

I’m in flagstaff az looking to buy some silkies. Would like to see I f there’s anybody local or does anybody have any suggestions on who I can order through. Preferably from an Arizona hatchery so the birds aren’t stressed out to much. I have never ordered online before.

Actually, I have been seeing Silkie chicks and the Silkie rooster for sale on Craigslist. I know that @Michelle Guynn is trying to do a hatch of a couple of her Silkie eggs right now.
