Arizona Chickens

Just be glad you only have a few chickies. I have 35 that is how I earned my title Princess of Poop. AND DesertChic has 80'ish I think she said - now that my friends is a lot of backyard poop!!
BTW - I have a pair of size 8 chicken Sloggers. They were given to me and are too big. My other problem is that my instep is so high I cannot get into my regular size. My hubby made my Sloggers lace up so I can wear them in the yard. I do like them - they do make my feet hot in the heat of summer but I change out when I get to the house. If you are interested message me.......

I'm down to 78 right now. Yay me! ;)

Chicken poop is great fertilizer and helps me make great compost for my garden. That said...some of my birds poop out turds the size of dog poop. That's just crazy right there.

Hey, how's your hubs doing?

Actually, a lot better. The surgeon who was pushing for him to have surgery was apparently just trying to pad his own bank account. It was a lengthy process, but we got three other opinions all negating that one, and the last surgeon we spoke to was VERY blunt in saying, "Stop worrying and start living. You're not a surgical candidate that the doctor who's saying otherwise is providing substandard care at best and possibly malpractice". So...hubby is getting back to living without fearing he's going to fall apart if he so much as sneezes.

I'm still carrying all of the heavy buckets of feed though. I'm not sure when he's going to get back to lifting heavy things for me. ;)

@DesertChic I'm glad that you found that out for your hubby. It's a shame how money hungry that some of them can be. They care about the money and not you.

About those feed bucket's... would it be possible that you could use one of those wagons for them?

:yesss: I'm so happy for you! I'll bet you're both relieved.
