Arizona Chickens

Run out there tomorrow and look for green eggs. You do have some ham to go with them, don't you? :gig
@BlueBaby
Are these chicks the same age as mine?

Well I have some pretty picky kids. And I’m a nurse so I work long hours so the crockpot works great for me....
They say you have to present foods 7-8 times before a child (or uncooperative adult)
will consider eating it. If they don't eat it, don't give them other options, just let them wait until the next meal (no meal, no dessert)
.... skipping a single meal won't hurt most humans...

Very white feathers! He was checkin himself out in the reflective puddle lol cute!

Yes, it look's like he was checking to see if any of the feathers on the top of his head were out of place. :gig

OMG! I LOVE HIM! I covet all white NNs!

My next hatch will be done with only my largest egg's, so I can start getting the bigger egg layer's as my flock.

@nicollee No, the one's that she got from me had a CCLB daddy, and the mother was my Splash Australorp hen. At the time that I had incubated those eggs, she was the only one that was laying eggs, and the NN's, Breese, and CCLB hen's had not started laying yet at that time.

So I still have a bit to wait then.
My Alohas aren't laying yet either.... born 7/3 hopefully that will be soon

So It's been years since I've actually kept a rooster a few weeks past when they start crowing.... which means I'm no longer familiar with the behaviors. The two Aloha boys I have, crow quietly at sundown (I can live with that, if that's all they do) but both of them have been trying to (for a lack of a better description), 'herd' me...
They walk sideways into me with a wing down..... Can anyone explain it?
I can pick both of them up and cuddle, and of them will still fall asleep in my lap:love if I hold him that long... Just not sure how to react to the behavior.

Yep they are herding you they do it with their girls to it's not super aggressive but I consider it passing the line or testing it

My buff never did it to me not once he's the kindest but doesn't allow petting

My ee is 10 months he tried it once and I reacted to tell him that's unacceptable I walk towards him snapping my fingers at him until he walks away quickly

He knows my finger snaps I've trained them that way from young it says you are passing the line I'm in charge you are 2nd boss. Otherwise they are saying to you they are boss and they could attack later

Its most important to not be too aggressive bc they will see u as a threat and attack or fear you in a way that they tell your girls to be wary of you and they will listen to him

Gtg but if you have more questions I can expand further

@BlueBaby Had to share with you how beautiful they have become! Still no eggs from them unless they are laying cream colored eggs

They're tidbitting you. They think they're in charge, be careful.
