Arizona Chickens

You'll be seeing lots and lots of pictures, I have some more work to do out there before I transfer them, I've got to move the brooder, I've lost to much floor space for them. So the brooder/grow out pen is going back to my large dog crate, and open up that floor space.

Like I used mine over here for my grow-out pen's?

I fight with the BOS all the time, if she doesn't pay attention, they can get the ordinances changed on her.. She and anyone else wants to be there when they try, getting the ordinance numbers can help or might just piss the A/C off, it's the health dept that is going to be the one who can cause trouble about the "smell". but I'd have those ordinance numbers at hand. If she does have to go before the board, then she's going to want to have everyone she knows that has chickens with her, it's going to affect them too.

that large on you have by the door? that is about the size of the one I have, while it blocks off a couple of nest boxes, it works great for the grow out. Chicks generally spend at least 3 weeks inside.

The one at the other end of the run is the same size as the one by the door.

Been out checking on everyone, I heard the egg song, but didn't find any eggs, Charley was out in the run, getting ready to take a dust bath next to the fence..lol.. he's not gotten use to me yet.

He and the other 3 girls will adjust in a couple of day's to the new home and new surrounding's. How were those 2 chick's doing this morning? Maybe you can try to candle those 6 egg's tonight to see how they are doing? Being this close to hatch date is sort of an experiment to me.

Ducklings for sale in Prescott.
Some Pekin cresteds
May be show quality crested?
Prefer them to go as pets, since I have spent a LOT of time socializing.

Love it.. the woman should have peeked over the fence long before buying the place, it's like people I've heard about that moved next to a hog farm and then complained about the smell, or those idiots who move under the flight path of a airport and then complain about the noise..lol,
We just bought a new place. One of the reasons we bought was that there were chickens next door. We were only interested in chicken friendly neighbors.

These are just three of the cuties available

Yes, they are cute, and I hope that you will be able to find them a new home. I do have chicken's even though hubby wasn't exactly keen on that. He told me that's it, no duck's, no pig's, no cow's, goat's, sheep, or horses.
