Arizona Chickens

Thank you, I am hoping that chicken math doesn't strike with this breed, lol, Judy the lady I got them from started off with just wanting a few for show.. well, she's now got 7 coops with their own runs, hatches around 20 per batch, these guys were some she hatched last night and she's got another batch to hatch tomorrow night..lol.. As a rule, she sells out as fast as they can break out of their shells and she also sell's hatching eggs. No show girls though.

@Michelle Guynn just recently hatched out some of the Showgirl one's, so she will probably be selling hatching egg's later on after her's start laying. She also has some of the regular silkie's too.

I’m going to make a rooster pen and put all the ones I’m not using in breeding.

I just culled 2 of my younger cockerel's today. I already have 3 of the cockerel's that are about at the age for butcher now already if I need something to eat during this stay at home thing.

I've got what I refer to as the bachelor pad, all the extra Roo's go there, I'm trying to learn how to dispatch, I also have a lady who she and her husband are totally off grid and self reliant. So she comes and gets them for bug control and Sunday dinner.

It's a good thing that you have a regular outlet to get rid of your extra boy's. If I had someone like that over here to take mine like that, I'd probably be hatching out more chick's over here. I have 3 boy's over here that will be crowing and trying to mate with the girl's soon. One of those boy's look's like a mini Roger. Then there's a pure white one, and a white one that has a laced shiny green tail.

It has been 20 years since I had some white silkies. Can I get an explanation of the difference between SHOWGIRL VS REGULAR,,:idunno:old
