Soooooooooooo...... what I’m seeing here is... more hens

we got like 10-15 minutes of light rain today... but I sat out with my chickens and watched as everywhere else got a good downpour for the better part of an hour or so...

If you get more hen's try a few of the standard sized hen's. It ought to be a blast watching those 2 batam boy's trying to breed them. Hey George, did you bring a ladder?

Well 8 of our current girls are full sized: 3 Golden Sex Links, 3 Marans, and 2 EE/Ameraucana (still not sure 100% on them yet but they are the golden and dark brown ones in the following pic)... and ain’t nobody tried breeding yet

The one unknown breed rooster (little guy on top of the chicnic table) just started crowing about a half week ago

Our bantam Cochin rooster (my profile pic) is still dead silent... included a pic of him and his girlfriend though... he seldom leaves her side (and her his) unless I’m in the coop with them...

Yeah I know he’s a roo... just don’t know what kind he is my son has taken to calling him Chocolate milk... our chochin got stuck with the name “Mr. Poopy Butt”... since he’s the only one we had that got pasty butt 2x

@Tinman0ut If you remember what hatchery they came from you could probably go there and look in the bantam breed's to find the rooster that look's like him.

I think that they get their's through Hoover's hatchery, but I'm not positive. You can call them up to ask if it's the one.

On their website they say that’s who they go through... but... none of them look like the either of the non-Cochin bantams we have/had

I don’t see the “style/type” of Cochin we have either I’m starting to think my Tractor Supply has gone rogue and started locally sourcing their chicks
