Yes they did.@Michelle Guynn Did your silkies hatch today for you?
Sorry to hear that.I was going to start a hatch going tonight with my Naked Neck's egg's, but think it's best to hold off a bit. One of our friend's wife died and he's not adjusting very well.
@BlueBaby -- what kind of incubator do you use?
Maybe - waiting to see if the eggs are getting bigger by then. If they do then @Parront may also get some of these eggs or some of her own flock's eggs in time for the hatch-a-long.OK, I'm officially in on the Easter Hatch-A-Long. I'll be setting a dozen egg's for it on March 13th, but might have a few set before that also for a split hatch.

@CaroleW Will you be joining me in it?

I'm excited to see my first hatch-- soon! And thanks for reminding me when it starts!
My Barred Hollands have been laying for almost 2 months now, eggs are larger than the were at the beginning. They might always be smaller than the Leghourn eggs.Maybe - waiting to see if the eggs are getting bigger by then. I only have the Wyandotte in that pen that I really want to try hatching crossed with Roger. She's the only brown egg layer in that pen, easy to know her eggs. Not sure if her eggs are fertile but will try them when I get enough to fill my incubator with the Barred Hollands.I hope that you do. Would you be hatching some from Roger? His chick's will make us both a grandma.![]()
