One of mine decided to start laying eggs with her butt over a ledge, and they pecked at and ate the cracked eggs. I started removing the eggs more often and left them with the ceramic eggs. They figured out that those are not edible, and so far, no more pecked eggs. Maybe try some ceramic eggs?

The one's she get's from me won't be barred, but no telling what color's that they can be yet. Maybe @AngBantamLuv can start making some fashionable diaper's instead of just the plain one's, huh?

Try to pick them up right away. I sometimes give distracting high protein snack/treats. Like a steak bone with some meat that they can peck off. Something hanging, like a cabbage swinging. I do not know what would work in the house, though! They sell plaster blocks for pet parrots, calcium with treats embedded, maybe something like that. Boredom causes pecking. A dark nest box, that they can't see the egg very well inside.
It is not easy to break the egg eating habit if they get used to it. That is why people pay big bucks for roll-out nest boxes!

I already have a ceramic one in there, she rolls it around.. but as for her actual egg, she turns around and pecks it as soon as it comes out!
