It is best to have a flock that gets along! NNs and Dorkings are both very mild mannered easy breeds. Hatchery White Rocks probably have to be tough to survive at Ideal's breeding flock. I am looking forward to trying some Dorkings. They are supposed to be good!![]()
That first chick that hatched out this morning is already dried off and has been moved down into the brooder. It's a fully feathered neck, so even if it's a girl I won't be keeping that one. It look's red tinted in coloring, so it might have picked up the coloring from Louie's mom that was the RR/Dorking mix. I have to download the pictures of that chick to my pc so I'll be posting it here in a bit. One of the Dark-eyed hen's egg is hatching out now.
