So exciting! I love these Bielefelders so active and healthy - and BEAUTIFUL - and AUTO SEXING!!!2 more Bielefelder chick's just hatched this morning, a boy and a girl. They are resting and drying off now still in the incubator.
Now you know why I wanted them to be the only one's that I will be working with. My whole flock is now nothing but Bielefelder's.So exciting! I love these Bielefelders so active and healthy - and BEAUTIFUL - and AUTO SEXING!!!
They are settling in - I went out to check on them (the big ones) but I forgot my camera --I'll take pics at early evening chore time to post!@CaroleW Have you gotten them all settled into their new home yet?
Those 2 hen's should help to keep that Bielefelder boy happy until those pullet chick's grow up.They are settling in - I went out to check on them (the big ones) but I forgot my camera --I'll take pics at early evening chore time to post!
The little ones are in my office with me now as I "work".
Those big one's will have no problem being busy with those weed's over there. I pulled up weed's for them to munch on over here too. The little NN/Bielefelder chick was the last one in your batch that hatched. You have it's mother over there with you in that weed patch.Bielefelder roo, NN hen and Aloha hen (in far corner). They have a lot of weeds to tackle as they settle in!

Bielefelder chicks and a NN chick in the brooder in my office for now. I'll clean out a bed in the greenhouse as it gets a little cooler and they'll love it in there for the winter.View attachment 3240676
Yes they are too fast to get a good pic - most were blurry. I texted the pic to neighbor and she couldn't see how many there were because their faces are all to the "ground".Those big one's will have no problem being busy with those weed's over there. By the way, don't you just love how those chick's like to explore everything?![]()
